June Jobs Report

The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently released its Employment Situation Summary for June, highlighting stronger than expected numbers. Below is a snapshot of what we learned.
Total non-farm payroll increased by 222,000 in June, the largest increase since February. The unemployment rate was little changed at 4.4%.
Wages increased an average of 2.5% from last year. This number has remained unchanged for the past two years.
