September Jobs Report

The unemployment rate hit a 16-year low of 4.2 percent for the month of September, the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced.
Payrolls fell by 33,000, however, marking the first net jobs loss in seven years. This was largely attributed to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The number of people reporting they were not working due to bad weather increased by 1.5 million.
