Paul Villella is the President and CEO of HireStrategy a Reston, Virginia-based professional staffing firm servicing the accounting, technology, sales, administrative and human resources professions.
After graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics, Paul worked in technology and management consulting at DuPont and at Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He then managed a staffing company, Source Services (acquired by Kforce during Paul's tenure as Managing Director) from a 12-person to 450-person operation that grew from $2 million in revenues to $80 million in revenues in five years.
Paul founded HireStrategy in 2000 to provide a consultative and relationship-driven search and consulting experience for candidates and employers alike. A recognized thought leader on economic, workplace and job market issues, Paul is regularly quoted in The Washington Post, The Washington Business Journal, Washington SmartCEO magazine and The Washington Examiner. He has also been featured on NBC news, CNN and in The Wall Street Journal.

Chris Owen Executive Vice President, Recruiting
Chris Owen, CPA, leads the Accounting and Finance practice, where he applies his years of experience in public accounting to acquire important clients, recruit qualified candidates, and continue to grow the practice.
Mr. Owen began his career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche. He then joined Source Services, where he specialized in recruiting and placing accounting and finance professionals. Mr. Owen helped Paul Villella build Source Services into the Mid-Atlantic area's top recruiting firm three years in a row in the late 1990s. Between leaving Source Services and co-founding HireStrategy, Mr. Owen was an executive recruiter for Booz-Allen & Hamilton's International division. Mr. Owen graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting.

Stephen Johnson, Executive Director Corporate Communications
Mr. Johnson leads HireStrategy's Corporate Communications Practice responsible for developing and implementing on- and off-line marketing, public relations and advertising for HireStrategy. Mr. Johnson has more than 20 years' experience in journalism, politics, public relations and marketing. Prior to joining HireStrategy, he served in senior management positions for Gray & Company, Hill & Knowlton and The Jefferson Group in Washington, DC, and for Burson-Marsteller in Toronto, Canada.
