Reston Firm Will Help Train, Place Area IT Workers

Reston, VA, January 16, 2003

HireStrategy, an executive recruiting and staffing firm serving the technology and accounting industries, has signed an agreement with the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board (NVWIB) to help bring together area companies and displaced technology workers.

NVWIB administers the Northern Virginia portion of the MetroTech, a federally-funded regional workforce development initiative designed to address the shortage of qualified individuals with the information technology skills which many employers are experiencing in the greater Washington area.

According to David Hunn, Executive Director of NVWIB: "We selected HireStrategy because it proposed an innovative and cost-efficient initiative to link workers with regional companies.
