HIRESTRATEGY LAUNCHES NEW EXECUTIVE SEARCH PRACTICE

HireStrategy, a professional staffing firm, on Tuesday announced that it has launched a new Executive Search practice and named Andrew Ormand, a veteran executive search professional, to head the practice.

Ormand joins HireStrategy from Venator Partners, where he served as a Partner in Washington, DC. Prior to Venator, Andrew managed recruitment for OCG Ventures, a Columbia, Maryland-based venture capital firm. Ormand was also a search professional with Heidrick & Struggles, focusing on early-stage companies in the telecommunications and software industries.
Ormand began his recruiting career in 1993 with Personnel Select (now TMP Worldwide), a search firm specialized in aiding the entry of multinational companies into Central/Eastern Europe. He is a graduate of Boston College and holds an M.B.A. from the London Business School.
