As the Chief Operating Officer of HireStrategy, Chris Owen oversees the daily operations of HireStrategy's recruiting and account management activities, ensuring the delivery of high quality search services to clients and candidates.

Chris graduated from Washington and Lee University and holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting. He spent his early career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche, and then later joined Source Services, where he recruited accounting and finance professionals and worked with Paul Villella during the company's accelerated growth into the top rated and largest revenue staffing operation in the mid-Atlantic region.

While Chris's present function centers around operational leadership and executive management of HireStrategy's various recruiting practices and service dimensions, Chris has also been especially instrumental in the development and success of HireStrategy's Accounting & Finance practice. His industry expertise in public accounting has been key to the acquisition of important clients and delivery of outstanding candidates in this practice.

Chris also plays a vital role in hiring, training, and mentoring HireStrategy associates, and in establishing and maintaining standards of excellence in staff performance.
