Local Recession Looks Unlikely to Post Panelists
Each January, the Washington Post asks a panel of 23 regional executives and analysts to predict how the Washington
area economy will perform in the coming year. What do these participants in the "Local Economy Challenge" think about the prospects for 2008?
Based on newly available economic data which suggest that a recession may be in the offing, Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Forrester Research has revised downward its outlook for U.S. and global IT purchases in 2008.
Also, be careful how you behave at work, office romances can rarely be kept secret. And remember the movie "Groundhog Day?" There may be lessons in the movie for your own life and career. Finally, do your homework before accepting a job offer. Researching a company is vital for making sure that you are really interested in working for the company long-term.
