What Comes after the August Jobs Report?

Most analysts and economists predicted an increase of more than 100,000 in the number of new jobs for August and were surprised when the Labor Department instead reported a small loss. I examine the impact of this disappointing result on the labor economy. Also, we look at the National Conference on the Creative Economy, this year hosted by Fairfax County.

We take a look at why first-born children are more likely to dominate the boardroom and evaluate career goals and how they change with age. Interested in a job with Google or Microsoft? Test your skills with some brainteasers that these companies often use with job applicants.
