Job Description:
We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to support day-to-day benefits administration. This role will serve as a key resource for employees, handling benefit-related inquiries, leave administration, and compliance while ensuring a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and terminations
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state regulations
- Assist with open enrollment
- Monitor and audit benefits data to ensure accuracy across internal systems
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and reporting
- Serve as a main point of contact for employees, and vendors on benefits-related inquiries
- Manage leave of absence programs, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing
- Support workers’ compensation activities, including reporting and record maintenance
- Contribute to the development and promotion of wellness programs and initiatives
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of benefits compliance and employment regulations
- Ability to manage high-volume, manual processes with attention to detail
- Experience working in a corporate environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma required
