Job Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle weekly payroll for 300 employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Review, audit, and validate timesheets for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies prior to payroll submission
- Perform detailed job costing and labor allocations across multiple projects to support accurate financial tracking and reporting
- Process payroll adjustments including bonuses, deductions, garnishments, and benefit withholdings while ensuring proper documentation
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Reconcile payroll reports, general ledger accounts, and payroll-related balances to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including payroll accruals, reporting, and preparation of payroll tax filings (W-2s, 941s, etc.)
Requirements:
· 3+ years of experience in the construction industry
· Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
Preferred:
· Experience with certified payroll and union employees
