Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a growing law firm in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional who can step in and contribute immediately in a fast-paced litigation environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and takes initiative while
supporting attorneys across multiple cases.
Responsibilities:
Support attorneys in both state and federal litigation matters
Manage all phases of discovery, including drafting, reviewing, organizing, and responding to requests
Track and manage court deadlines and internal timelines with minimal supervision
Assist with case preparation, filings, and trial support
Maintain organized case files and documentation
Proactively identify next steps to keep cases moving forward
Provide leadership and accountability within the legal support team
Qualifications:
5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal environment
Strong understanding of differences between state and federal cases
Extensive, hands-on experience with discovery procedures
Ability to hit the ground running with minimal training
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
Deadline-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Professional communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
