Additional Details:
- Hybrid schedule with approximately 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
- Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
- 40 hours per week with flexibility for the right candidate.

About our client:
Addison Group is partnering with an established organization seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to support its Human Resources team during a period of organizational growth and transition. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact across multiple HR functions while working alongside a collaborative leadership team.
Job Description:
The Senior HR Generalist will oversee a broad range of human resources responsibilities, supporting employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle. This position requires a hands-on HR professional who can manage daily HR operations, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, employee support, and vendor coordination.
- Manage leave of absence programs while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, including reporting and system updates.
- Support performance management initiatives, employee development, and engagement programs.
- Partner with leadership to improve HR processes and promote operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Assist with payroll coordination, audits, and other HR projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist role.
- Experience administering benefits, leave programs, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, ERISA, and related regulations.
- Familiarity with California employment law is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Government contracting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
